It was a strange day yesterday, seems that Onyxia has been leveling through Outland and Northrend (Apparently they just got released in her Lair...or she has been living under a rock all this time?) and found herself to be level 80, and with it seemed to get the usual increase in spell damage...melee damage...health increase, some new abilities?...just like what every other player can expect to see when leveling from 60 to 80.

Needless to say this didn't scare us away, really... she couldn't beat the might of the ole Yacht Club and we laid rest to her and all of her adds, was a relatively easy encounter but a nice nostalgic encounter nonetheless.

Last night we managed to "finally" take down the old General and his little Animus companion.

So, well this has proven to be quite a week. Normal modes tried to stand in our way however.... this clearly wasn't enough, as we decided to enter and engage with the Heroic versions of the various Trial of the Crusader encounters. They proved to be quite a challenge, more damage, more abilities, more heals, more cooldowns, more adds...the usual routine!

The first 4 encounters didn't prove to be too much of a struggle, even the Faction Champions (Which Hoof has been having nightmares about) didn't appear to be too much of a problem. However...Anub'Arak, our friendly neighbourhood Spiderking.....he stood in our way to victory, he threw his band of merry spider people at us to come to his defense...and well, he failed... after about 5 hours of pretty intense fights we finally got him down to the ground, was quite a fight but we stayed up all night to do it :D

Hard to believe just 5 weeks ago the Argent Crusade summoned us to face against some of their most feared monsters.....terrifying demons..... strongest champions.....evil scourge and a whole lotta facerolls....however this wasn't enough, well, apparently it was a bit of a suprise for Tirion and his gang of merry paladins.....

So the Lich King made a guest star appearence, and kinda went on a bit of a rampage destroying the same circular room for every boss encounter which we had become very used to...and kinda destroyed the ground and well, we fell right into his little trap...and who did we find down there?!?!?! Well just so happend to be Anub'Arak the old spider king of the spiders (Not Jormungers) hanging out with his friends drinking some ice, throwing some spikes.....oh well, he tried leaching our health and sending in his crew to scare us off....however, we didn't fall for his trap and kicked his spidey ass back to the grave.....(Theres a reason i normally don't do these late at night btw)

So this leaves the Grand Crusader left....wonder how nicely they will treat us in there.....watch this space ;D

Back on topic, awesome job tonight and the last 5 weeks, maybe not the hardest encounters blizzard has thrown at us, still good fun nonetheless :)

With absolutely no help from Mimiron (He was still repairing the mess we made in his workshop) we killed Yogg-Saron, he tried to scare us off with his deafening roars...however we persisted! and well, kicked his slimey, tentacle, green faced ass!!!

However, this wasn't purely an accident (That Mimiron took the night off (He wasn't feeling too well to help us) Stampi (Our resident Orange farmer. makes the best orange juice!) managed to throw the unbound fragments of Val'Anyr into Yoggy's face and some strange chemical reaction occured, now I'm no scientist, so won't go into detail, but i can bet it was some damn sweet orange juice! and in the mix of things, Stampi got his shiney new mace.....

Really nice job from the entire guild and I'm sure Stampi really appreciates the hard work everyone put in from the guild to get him this mace.
